2009 Collection Part I

Continuing on from my 2008 collection, the 2009 collection will continue to explore the bizarre and quirky world of my animal kingdom, introducing new 'characters' and experimenting with new ideas. Below are some of the new pieces plus more to come!

The Odd Couple (2009). Material: Plastic, silver, bi-colored synthetic quartz, rose quartz beads.

Marshmallow Overload II (2009). Material: Plastic, silver, cubic zirconia, reconstituted turquoise beads.

This piece is a variation of 'Marshmallow Overload' from the 2008 collection. The cubic zirconia is a darker pink combined with reconstituted turquoise beads, giving the piece a little more contrast in color. Not for the faint hearted...

Smack II (2009). Material: Plastic, silver, cubic zirconia.

Look Out! (2009). Material: Plastic, silver, cubic zirconia.

Funny Legs (2009). Material: Plastic, silver, cubic zirconia.

Lover (2009). Material: Plastic, silver, cubic zirconia, white coral beads.

Twin Chimps (2009). Material: Plastic, silver, cubic zirconia, quartz beads.

Design Now! 2009

My works have been selected for Object Gallery's Design Now! 2009 exhibition, which is being held at the Object Gallery in Sydney from 18 April- 21 June, then moving on to the Melbourne Musuem from 14 August- 25 October 2009.
